MUSICAL INFLUENCES

This is even tougher than narrowing down movies…I think everyone I have ever played or sang with has influenced me…everything I hear influences me, but I’ll do my best to give a representation.  It seems most of the players I’ve worked with always say they’re a rock player, & they’re playing country ‘cause that’s where the work is.  I want everyone to know that I’m a country music guy & always have been – I played rock earlier in life ‘cause there were no country bands to play with!  I like a lot of different music, and admire the talents of everyone who makes music…so…don’t even ask me for a favorite song – I have a hard time picking a favorite song when you name one artist…who can pick a favorite Alan Jackson song?  There’re way too many great ones!  Same for too many artists to name!  I can only narrow my list(s) down to this…
